MMBase 1.9.1 released
Jun 4, 2009 - The first bug fix release of 1.9 with several improvements and new features.

MMBase is migrating to SVN
Apr 28, 2009 - We are planning to migrate the MMBase CVS repository to Subversion. We tested how that would go, and it went well. The migration is planned for the 1st of May.

MMCF released with MMBase 1.9.0
Nov 4, 2008 - This release includes the long awaited MMBase Component Framework designed to make sharing applications and other functionality build upon MMBase easier.

MMBase 1.8.6 released
Aug 5, 2008 - Again more new features en bugfixes.

MMBase

MMBase is an object relational mapping tool to build advanced web-applications. If you are looking for an MMBase-style Enterprise Web Content Management System, please go to the CMScontainer.org. Both have strong multi media features and the CMScontainer has advanced portal functionalities (JSR 168 compliant). There is a large installed base in The Netherlands. Many of the largest Dutch sites/portals (Kennisnet, KNMI, broadcasters) use MMBase and/or the CMSContainer. Main characteristics: Java, Open Source, open standards.
