Framework settings-editor.

Details

  • Type: New Feature New Feature
  • Status: Open Open
  • Priority: Major Major
  • Resolution: Unresolved
  • Affects Version/s: 1.9.0
  • Fix Version/s: 2.0.1
  • Component/s: Component Framework
  • Description:

We have mm:setting, and can by that access component settings. The framework also has the method to set settings.

Now we still need stuff to actually set settings via e.g. the admin pages. This involves adapting taglib, to be able to handle arbitrary datatypes (not just from fields). That would be needed for mm:datatype any way.

Furthermore, BasicFramework now only can store settings _in memory_. Either in user session (pretty neat), or in it's own map. It would be nice if it provides other forms of persistence (filesystem, database, cookies etc).
