Why can't I create sub-tasks for this issue?

I can distinguish e.g.

1 Add necessary meta-data to dove-data, nodemanager, enumeration values
2 Drop current javascript validation and replace by generic one
3 Clean up all 'guitype' based functionality.

in HEAD, enumerations are working. This is the most important thing, because we're getting crazy of the duplicate option-list configurations.

Will port to 1.8.6 if 1.8.5 is released (we're in rc1 now).
