It's nice to ship an example jdbc.xml, but since it is in the mmbase.jar you 'd have to place an empty jdbc.xml containing <status>inactive</status> to completely disable it.
This is a bit silly.
The jdbc module is optional (since you can configure a application context data source), so removing the example jdbc.xml should suffice.
