Hide
MMBase webapps with mmbob are harder to upgrade and to version. It is not possible to create a war file for the next version of the website. This is becouse mmbob writes to it's forum configuration file (WEB-INF/config/mmbob/mmbob.xml). The configuration can be edited through a web interface so in principle the version in the live server is always leading and can not be overwritten.
solution: Make shure the configuration is stored through the resourcemanager and into the resource builder.

The same problem arises with the thememanager and the multilanguage application. So they have to be fixed in the same way to get rid of this problem
