    It 's a bit annoying that you have to login. I'd say that an option 'remember me on this computer' would be welcome.

This has to be implemented with a Javascript cookie? One that remembers your username? But not your password? Or both?

At least you don't have to relogin again if the server restarts now.

Implemented with a cookie that store a users API key. It is removed when a user logs out.
